Obituary for CARIAN

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday January 26, 2010

Peter L. Carian, May 18, 1963 - January 26, 2000 Daddy, whenever I misbehaved, you told me you had a daughter like me once and buried her in the backyard. I believed you until I was about six. Hilarious! Whenever I got bad grades, you encouraged me by telling me I had a sister named Misty who was an exemplary student traveling the world (which was why I'd never met her). I believed you until I was about eight. Priceless! When you bet me that within ten years they'd make a device as small as a marble that could play music in theater quality surround sound without external speakers, I believed you until about now. Hasn't happened yet. You owe me five bucks. They say laughter helps. Over the years, it definitely has. It didn't hurt that you showed us the way to do it right. Missing you and all the laughs! Remembering you today and every day... Love, Adrienne
