Joseph S. (Buddy) Robino, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1939, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Buddy was born in Trinidad, Colorado, in 1917 and served in the U.S. Army Air Force in the South Pacific during World War II.For most of his life, Buddy was lucky enough to work in a field that was also was his lifelong hobby, and he shared his expertise and interests with his many friends and family. Norma, his wife, preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by his children and extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends. Buddy was proud of his Italian heritage and of his family and friends. Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 24, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. at French - University Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, with interment to follow.
