Doug Pyles, 65, died January 7, 2010. He is survived by his daughter Tamara Lin Shaffer and husband Ferrell; granddaughters, Melissa and Sarah Shaffer; sisters Carla Noblett, Carolynn Wetzel and husband Dale; and many other family members; and friends, including Don Garcia. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beverley Pyles; and brother, Duane. Mr. Pyles moved to Albuquerque from Austin, TX in 2002. He was an avid motorcyclist and lived in and enjoyed the East Mountains. Doug loved God, his family, including his dogs, his friends, his country and his Harley, in that order. He had a career in sales for the computer technology industry in Houston and Austin and after retiring he worked for Expressions of Life in Albuquerque. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 4:00 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Cremation has taken place and memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Klamath Falls, Oregon in the spring.
