Obituary for MOXEY

Elizabeth Moxey, 64, of Albuquerque passed away on January 21, 2010. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico and was known as Bettye to friends and family. She and her beloved eloped and settled in San Diego, CA. where they remained for 30 years before returning to Albuquerque in 1995. Most recently, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and belonged to the Lava Ladies, Royal Rowdies, and Ding-bat clubs. Bettye Moxey was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Mabel Bibb of Las Vegas, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William Moxey of Albuquerque; daughter, Monique Moxey and husband Sam Polles of Jackson, Mississippi; brother, David Bibb and wife Mary Kay of Las Vegas; sister-in-law Nancy Wilson and husband Charles of Estancia; grandchildren Moxey and John Polles; 15 nieces and nephews, and 14 grandnieces and grandnephews. The memorial service will be held Monday, January 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Riverside Funeral Home at 225 San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque. May her memory be eternal.
