Violet Adele Grundman, 94, passed away in her sleep January 17, 2010. She had lived in Albuquerque since 1936, when she - then Violet Bosetti --began work as a Harvey girl in the Alvarado Hotel. A memorial service for her will be held Tuesday, January 26, 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, where she was a long-time member. The church is located at 211 Jefferson Street N.E. in Albuquerque. Private internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., where her husband Karl Ludwig Grundman was buried in 1981. Violet is survived by three nephews and two nieces, children of her late sister, Clelia Sweeney.
