John Andrew Davidson, 61, our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully and without fear on January 16, 2010. He was born on January 20, 1948 in Albuquerque, NM and a longtime resident of Lafayette, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Davidson. He is survived by Polly Gage his beloved wife; Lee Daniel Davidson, his beloved son; Jonah Drescher and family; Willow Monterros and family; sisters, Cathy Jordan of Joshua Tree, CA, Mary Lou Winters of Albuquerque, NM, Barbara and Tito Montoya of Rio Rancho, NM, Tina and Will West of Tucson, AZ; brother, Gregory Davidson of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Joaquin, Cinnamon and Sabrina; nieces and nephews, Craig Lee Rasband and family, Jimmy Henderson and family, Kendra and Chris Van Tiem, Kelby Laabs, Jackie Salgado and Aaron Forum. His earthly presence will truly be remembered through his love and guidance that he gave to all of us through his mentoring, friendship and teachings. His life was not only measured by what he did in his life but also defined by what he did for others and his wonderful impact on them. His life will be celebrated by family and friends on January 25, 2010 at a memorial service between 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Daniels Family Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd SE and Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho NM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the ALS Association in remembrance of John.
