Elizabeth J. Blood, 65, a resident of Albuquerque died Monday, January 18, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Walter W. Blood, III of Albuquerque; and her sisters, Mary Lou Schempf of Weehawken, NJ and Kathie Smith of Littleton, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Beth Mungen of Tulsa, OK. Elizabeth was born in Ottawa, Canada and moved to Tulsa, OK at a very young age. She was a high school teacher 14 years and served the public 20 years at the Internal Revenue Service. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please make contributions to the Menaul School in honor of Dong-hun Yu, her Korean son. Menaul School, 301 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
