Mildred P. Althaus, born May 21, 1916 in Hackett, Arkansas, passed away January 9, 2010 in Sacramento, California. An RN by profession, but Bridge was her passion and she attained the level of a Silver Lifetime Master with the American Contract Bridge League. During the 70s, 80's and 90' she performed extensivevolunteer work in Albuquerque, NM for local hospitals and Meals on Wheels. Preceded in death by her Husband Ed in 1972, "Millie" is survived by her sister, Doris (AR); brother, Bill (AR); son, Ron (CA); grandson, Brent (NY); granddaughter, Stephanie (FL); and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alden and Sydney. At her request there will be no public services. Remembrances may be sent to the Salvation Army
