Jose M. Romero, 74, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010. He was born in Las Nutrias, NM. He lived and worked in Las Vegas, NV and Albuquerque, NM. Jose was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Romero; parents, Leandro and Rosela; brothers, Seferino, Roger, Randy, Santiago, and Eddie Romero; and his nephew, Ismael Martinez. He is survived by his children, Sally Romero, Albert Romero and wife, Cindy, and Amanda Recio and husband, Martin; grandchildren, Patrick, Lori, Niko, Jessica, Amanda, Sabrina, Samantha, Martin Jr., and Honey; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo, David, Lee Ray, and Michael; sister, Elsie; nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins, and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at New Beginnings Church of God, 3601 Montgomery, NE (Montgomery and Carlisle) with Pastor Richard Mansfield officiating. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Burial to follow at San Isidro Cemetery in Las Nutrias, NM. Pallbearers will be Chris, David Jr., Cisco, Andrew, Randy Jr., Henry, Bobby, Lee Ray Jr., Daniel, Michael Jr., Arturo, Edwin, Danny, Sef Jr., and Alfred Romero, Raymond, Richard and Gene Olguin.
