Obituary for FISH

Clara B. Fish, passed away January 18, 2010 at age 85. She was born and raised in Missouri, and moved to Albuquerque in 1956. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and had worked as a bookkeeper at Albuquerque Auto Supply. She loved to quilt, sew, cook, travel and spoil her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and remembered with beautiful memories. She was preceded in death by her mother; and father; a sister; and a daughter (Sandra Matthews-Miller, 55, deceased October 26, 2009). She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ellis E. Fish; a daughter, Bonnie Matthews and husband Kirby; a son, Gene Fish and wife Ruth; a son-in-law, Douglas Miller; four grandchildren, Deanne Knutter, Scott Matthews, Aaron Matthews, and Brann Linzie; seven great- grandchildren, Stephen Knutter, Drew Matthews, Dale Matthews, Alex Matthews, Rachael Matthews, Kali Linzie, and Dante Linzie. She also leaves a niece, Judy Baxter; and a nephew Freddie Marsh. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., both at Riverside Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Pastor Curtis Brown of Grace Baptist Chapel. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery immediately following the service.
