Lourdes Feist, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was born December 3, 1930 in Rodarte, NM to Antonio and Trinidad Romero. She married Kasmar in 1954. They moved to Albuquerque in 1966 where they built a loving home and raised their family. She is survived by Kasmar her loving husband of 55 years; her ten children, Michael (Monica), Theresa (Michael Gonzales), Anna (John Bazemore), Christina (Robert Hawk), Peter (Shermala), Patrick (Christina), Jon (Sandra), Paul (Kristi), Luwanda (Kevin Jarvis), and Andrew (Britny); her greatest gift of joy came from her 26 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was in the Legion of Mary for 43 years and for 34 of those years in jail ministry. She was very active at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and Spanish Choir. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at French Lomas. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, January 21, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, Lomas at Tennessee. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Legion of Mary, Our Lady City of God Praesdium, in care of Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 811 Guaymas Pl, NE Albuquerque 87108.
