Obituary for ARGEANAS

Mike T. Argeanas, 82, passed away on January 10, 2010. Mike was born December 17, 1927 to Theodore and Angelina Argeanas. He is survived by his wife Anna Argeanas. They married on February 17, 1952 and are the parents of three children, sons, Alex (Betsy) and Ted who died in 2009; and daughter, Sia Raymondi (Rick) of Boise, Idaho. Mike is survived by his sister, Esther; and brothers, George, Andy and Johnny. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edna; and brothers, Gus and Jim. Mike is survived by grandchildren, Ann Marie, Ricky and Mike Raymondi, Mike Argeanas, and Cooper and Sianna Argeanas. Mike served in the Korean conflict. He worked for Spitzer Electric and Tee Pee Auto Parts before opening Mike's Buy Low Auto Supply. He operated this business with his sons. Mike enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cabin in the mountains. He and Anna enjoyed yearly trips to Greece. He was a "people person" and enjoyed making new friends and business associates. He loved his church and served on the board for many years. A Trisagion will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at French, Lomas Chapel. Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High Street SE 87102 with Father Paul Patitsas officiating. Pallbearers will be Nick Kapnison, John Swoboda, Pete Rallis, Ricky and Mike Raymondi and Mike Argeanas. Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Latasa, Dale Schafer, Tommy Argeanas, Ted Argeanas and Zack Niforos. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
