Steven E. Spain December 13, 1956 - December 28, 2009 Steven Eugene Spain, 53 years old, passed away in Yamhill, OR after a battle with cancer. Services will be held in Albuquerque, NM and will be announced at a later date. Steve was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Charles R and Virginia G Spain. He graduated from Highland High School then served in the Navy for six years as an aviation electronics technician. His job as a semi-conductor field service engineer brought him to Oregon and he eventually settled in Yamhill County. Steve loved to ride his Harley. He was also an avid reader and his musical taste covered just about every era and style. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Charles R Spain. He is survived by his daughters, Camille Spain who is serving in the Navy and stationed on Okinawa, Japan, Laurel Spain of Yamhill, OR; mother, Virginia G Spain of Yamhill, OR; sister, Catherine Agin of Lincolnshire, IL; and brother, David Spain of Albuquerque, NM.
