Benny G. Sanchez, 69, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2010. Benny was born to Miguel and Rachel (Griego) Sanchez on April 23, 1940 in Albuquerque, NM. Benny is survived by his wife Carol; their four children, one son, David Sanchez; his daughters, Julia and Frank Barela, Cynthia and Alfredo Pena, Loretta Sanchez, nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six sisters; two brothers; many nephews, nieces and god children. A Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2010 with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be; Frankie Barela, Mark Barela, Larry Lejune, Duane Pena, Edward Garcia, Albert Sandoval, Cesar Martin, Gene Sandoval.
