Obituary for PAQUES

John W. Paques, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. He was born on February 29, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to John and Lena (Boyle) Paques. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Naola (Cookie) Paques; daughter, Monique Paques of Kennewick, Washington; brother, David Paques of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Felicie McDougal of Richmond, Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors. He graduated in 1958 from Mt. Vernon High School where he was a member of the 1956 and 1957 undefeated Yellow Jackets football team and shared a special fellowship with his teammates through the years. He served in the army from 1961 - 1964. He was employed by Cooper Energy Services for 37 years retiring at the end of 1999. There will be a Memorial Service held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at French ~ Westside Chapel.
