Obituary for GLIBERT

LaDonna A. Glibert of Albuquerque passed away surrounded by her family on December 3, 2009 in Vancouver, WA, at the age of 72. She was born in Randall, Minnesota, to Nels and Hulda Anderson, grew up in Longview, WA, and graduated from RA Long High School in 1955. She spent the last 43 years living in Albuquerque. On February 1, 1958, she married Kenneth Glibert, he survives her at home. She was a member and volunteer at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. She also spent time volunteering at Presbyterian hospital. LaDonna was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking cookies, sewing, scrapbooking, and cake decorating. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and her family. In addition to her loving husband, Ken, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Roland Brosius of Battle Ground, WA, and Debra and George Knoske of Cincinnati, OH; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Veryl Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Marlys and Kent Bradley; sister-in-law, Jackie Ladewig; brother-in-law, Stan Fouch; granddaughters, Savannah and Hallie Brosius and Ava Knoske; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio Dr. N.E., Albuquerque, NM, 87108. Memorial contributions may be made in LaDonna Glibert's name to the RW Franz Cancer Research Center, Providence Portland Medical Foundation, 4805 N.E. Glisan St., Portland, OR, 97213.
