Michael E. Gibson, born April 4, 1949 in Paris, TX, was a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years. After 20 years with Continental Trailways, Michael went to work for St. Joseph Healthcare Systems in 1988. He retired as security supervisor in 2007. Michael returned to security at Lovelace Healthcare in 2008 where he was employed until his death Friday, December 25, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Gibson, July 7, 1990 and his mother, Dolores E. Gibson, October 2, 2009. Michael is survived by his sister, Donna Gibson Trujillo and husband, Scott Trujillo; daughter, Joy A. Gibson and husband, Glen R. Finley; son, Joshua E. Gibson and wife, Ann Koch of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Nicole A. and Beatrice S. Gibson, Erin J. Finley; great-grandson, Gavin R. Gibson; numerous cousins and a world of friends. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009, 1:00 p.m., at French ~ Wyoming Chapel.
