Joseph D. Rivera (Danny), 63, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 28, 2009. Mr. Rivera is survived by his beloved wife of eight years, Mrs. Martha Rivera; his son, Scott Rivera and fiance Kiera Godeny; his brother, Michael Rivera; brother-in-law, Santiago Garcia; two nieces, Frances Herrera and husband, Jeremiah, and Stephanie Lucero; two nephews, Paublo Garcia, and Tony Lucero; cousins, Pat and Priscilla; two aunts, Margaret and Juanita and husband, Gilbert; one uncle, Johnny Martinez; and many other extended family members. Mr. Rivera was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He loved the outdoors as a member of the Mountain Men. Visitation will be Thursday, December 31, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.
