Obituary for LOVATO

Gloria M. Lovato was called home to the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2009. Gloria lived most of her live in Albuquerque with a few years in Los Angeles, CA. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and good heartedness. She loved bingo and made many friends along the way. She showed extraordinary compassion for those less fortunate with her thoughts, prayers and gifts of kindness. Her journey was difficult but she is now at peace with the Lord. She was a faithful member of St. Peter and Paul Traditional Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her son baby Larry Steven Lovato, parents Manuel Garcia and Lily Pohl, and brothers Ralph Garcia, Stanley Montano and Chris Montano. She is survived by her loving children Maria Elizabeth Lovato, Mildred Lovato, Manuela Amaya and husband Robert and Matthew Lovato and wife Valerie. Also surviving nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Pat Archuleta and husband Bob, Celina Angel, Andreita Apodaca and husband Luciano, Vera Spencer, Martha Montoya, and Deanna Blecher and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held on Monday December 28, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Stover Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a rosary to follow at 7:00 pm also in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday December 29, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Peter and Paul Traditional Catholic Church, 5800 Ouray Rd NW, with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
