Elaine Melancon Templet 86, born August 13, 1923 in Thibodaux, LA, and passed away December 9, 2009 in Richardson, TX. She was preceded in death by husband, Philip J. Templet, Jr.; son, Michael D. Templet; and parents, Harris and Nettie Toups Melancon. She is survived by sons, Philip H. Templet, Brian S. Templet, and Darin M. Templet (Melanie); daughter-in-law, Marilyn Gesser; grandchildren, Melanie Yerger (John), Philip A. Templet (Julie), Kristen Clement (Cory), Marcel Templet (Jenny), and Alexander Templet; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Delmae M. Breerwood (Roy), and Mary Frances Bourgeois; and sister-in-law, Anita T. Gassen (Arthur). A Visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., and will be followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, LA. Inurnment will take place Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Savior Mausoleum, St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to E.D.
