Marie E. Sanders, 97, a longtime resident of Corrales, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Marie was born April 9, 1912 in Centralia, Oklahoma, moved to Colorado in early 1940's, then she moved to New Mexico in the early 1980's where she lived her remaining years. She loved being involved with the family events, and really enjoyed the parties held at her daughter's ranch. Marie is survived by her loving daughters, Imogene Hughes of Santa Fe, and Ann Hathaway of Corrales. She was proud to be a grandmother of six; great-grandmother of 13; and a great-great-grandmother of three; all of whom she loved greatly. Marie was a member of Grace Outreach Center. The Visitation for Marie will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with the Service at 9:30 a.m. at Grace Outreach Center, 2900 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho with Pastor Kent Bernard officiating. Interment will be on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. For those who wish, you may send condolences to the family at www.danielsfuneral.com.
