Mabel Rich of Albuquerque, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on December 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Earl Rich, and her four brothers and four sisters. Mabel is survived by sister Crystal Crehl, her brother Harry Clark, her daughters Jean McLean and her husband Hugh McLean, Ann Rivers and her husband LeeRoy Rivers, her sons Arthur Rich and wife Joyce Rich, Don Rich and his wife Patsy Rich. She was also a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was born in Farmington to Harry and Gertrude Clark and lived there until she graduated from Farmington High School in 1931. She married Earl in 1931 and moved with him to Albuquerque thereafter. She worked at the Baptist bookstore for 30 years. A special thank you would like to be given to David Alderete and Richard Moya of Lakeview Mannor who cared for her during her last years and also to her special friends Ernestine, Bessie and Rosalie. A funeral service for Mabel will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at French on University followed by a committal service at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
