Lynnette Romero, born November 8, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 from cancer at the age of 51. She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Carlos Romero; sons, Mario Gutierrez and wife, Deanne, and Steven Gutierrez; sisters, Francine Plake and husband, Terry, Stephanie Romero and partner, Cathi Rubi, and Roberta Rowe and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Vanessa, Leanna, and baby Gutierrez, due in May; and God Child, Michelle Rowe; as well as other family and friends who loved her and will miss her. Lynnette was both mother and father to both her sons, including one son with special needs. Lynnette was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved Nascar Racing, especially Dale Earnhart, Jr., yard work, and country western music. Services will be held at Glorybound Ministries, 11913 Menaul, NE, Menaul and Chelwood Park on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with pastors, Claudia and Wyatt Moore. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melinda Torres, Darlene Saavedra, Phillip Plake, Sean Plake, Carlos Rowe, and David Perez. Honorary pallbearer will be Flora Sanchez.
