Dorothy L. Evans, 88, passed away on November 14, 2009. She was a member of Sandia Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and was a moderator of Presbyterian Women. She was a past president of the Beta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She loved to play bridge and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her husband Major David Evans Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kerr; a son David Evans III and wife Carol Paris; and a niece, Susan Broderick. A memorial service will be held at Sandia Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00. Burial will take place at a later time at Fort Bliss in El Paso.
