Donna Lee Herman, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother born June 5, 1938 passed away peacefully in her home November 12, 2009. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Ecko and Ruth Boelman; her brother, Delmer Boelman and her loving husband David O. Herman. Dave and Donna started to build their life together in Albuquerque over a half a century ago coming from Minnesota and falling in love with the Southwest. They made many life-long friends, raised a family and had the wonderful opportunity to travel around the world with great people at KOBTV and throughout the community. Donna is survived by her two daughters, Leslie Morrison and Jodi Ramsbacher; her grandchildren, Janis McBroom, David McBroom, Kari McBroom, Dustin Ramsbacher, Mari Ramsbacher and Jada McBroom; her brothers and sisters, Wendell Boelman, Ecko Boelman Junior, William Boelman, Bev Soladay and Lori Boelman. A memorial service will be held November 17, 2009 at 10:00 am at the French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE, 505-823-9400. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Adoption Exchange or the UNM Cancer Center.
