Jared John Herrera, 21, went to be with our Lord and Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 7, 2009. He is survived by his parents, John and Josie; sister, Jamie; maternal grandparents, Mary Tristan and Eustaquio Tristan both of Seguin, TX; paternal grandparents, Mary and Basilio Cimental of Seguin, TX; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Jared, known as El Nino, was an avid skateboarder, preferring to ride the long- board. He was a loving son and brother and a loyal friend. Jared had a passion for art, especially ink sketches. He walked to the beat of his own drum, most often on his own set of drums. Jared will be remembered for his radiant smile and infectious laugh. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel NE. Friends may visit prior to the rosary from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community with Father Mike Shea, Celebrant.
