Charles Frederick Brown (Charlie, Freddie, Chuck) 61, passed away November 5, 2009. Born in Pasadena, CA August 4, 1948 to Lucy Ruth and Theo R. Brown, he was raised in Albuquerque with his siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are brothers James and Ted Brown of Albuquerque and sister, Eleanor Brown Rucker of San Antonio, Texas. Charles attended Manzano Day School and Del Norte High School where he was captain of the Del Norte Knights basketball team, President of his class and on the honor roll for 3 years. He attended Wheaton College. He was much loved, was generous and had a great sense of humor. He always had a mischievous grin for everyone. Charles will be missed by many. The family wishes to thank the staff at Westwind House and his devoted caregiver, Gloria Graber. Visitation will be held at French Mortuary, University, 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., November 9, 2009.
