Patrick A. McGuire passed away September 26, 2009 in Victoria, Australia after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Albuq., NM on December 8, 1953 and served his country as a Sgt. in the US Air Force. He then received training at T.V.I. as a Mechanical Draftsman and pursued a career at Detroit Diesel. He moved to Australia in 1980 where he lived for the past 29 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Nihl; brother H.J. "Jim"; and nephew, Daniel Canterini. He is survived by his former wife, Vicki; and their son Christopher; and Anna Muszak, his "Soul Mate" of 20 years, all of Australia. Also, his mother, Margie; brothers Travis and wife Doris, Glenn and wife Glenda, all of Albuquerque, NM, John and wife Penny of Rio Rancho, NM; and sister Oleta "Lee" Canterini and husband Vince of Orlando, FL., in addition to many nieces and nephews. Services were held in Australia on September 30, 2009. Additionally a private family service with Military Honors was held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery prior to internment.
