Dawn Yrene, 45 years young, of Tijeras, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 25, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Yrene; her four beautiful and talented daughters, Jennifer, Lael, Heather, and Kristin; and her handsome and loving son, Luke; her mother, Elizabeth Allen (Perry) and her father Kenneth Allen; her sister, K. Dana Pomroy and husband Andrew and their children; her sister Sara Spencer and husband Robert and children; Kevin's parents, Karl and Sandra Yrene of Idaho; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and half brothers. Dawn was born in Albuquerque on August 18, 1964. She was a beautiful and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed and treasured by all who knew her. Dawn was a gifted and published author, with publications in several Christian periodicals, including Keys for Kids and Discipleship Journal, among others. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at French-Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE in Albuquerque. Friends may call on the family beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at French. Interment will follow at Barton Cemetery, near Edgewood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any and all donations to be given to Wells Fargo, for Kevin Yrene, in memory of Dawn Yrene.
