Purnell "Perky" Stoos, born May 23, 1918 in Faribault, MN, passed away, October 13, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. She attended public schools in Faribault, MN. Purnell became Secretary - Treasurer of Production Credit Association. She married her husband, John, in June of 1945 while he was still serving in the United States Army. Purnell quit working when her daughter Sandra was born to become a full time mother. During Purnell's marriage with John they lived in Minneapolis, MN, Rochester, MN, Raleigh, NC, and moved to Albuquerque in 1945, when John retired.
