Marjorie "Margie" Moran, age 73, of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Al Moran, mother of six children; Beth Nicholson and husband Nick, Nancy Moran, Fred "Sonny" Moran (Deceased) Larry "Sandy " Moran, Susan Knight, and Charlotte Manning and husband James, seven grandchildren; Larry Nicholson, Bill Nicholson, Mariah Nicholson, Samantha Carney, Scottie Jolly, Alexa Manning and Tory Works, and two great grandchildren; Dante and Keely Jolly, three sisters; Nadine Rasco, Vada Aldridge, and Sonja Lopez, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Margie and her husband Al built the family business, Moran Signs, beginning in 1968 and she continued to work there until 1989. While working at the business she also was a supportive mother, raising her children and taking care of the home with love. Her grandchildren were a special part of her life and she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. In the last years of her life, Margie was lovingly cared for by her husband, her daughter, Susan, her friend, Rita Alane and all the wonderful 'family' at Ambercare. Friends may call on the family during visitation held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at French-Lomas Chapel at 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at French-Lomas Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
