Pam was born March 2nd, 1951 in Texas City, Texas to Jean and Haskell Cantrell (both deceased,) and was the youngest of three daughters. Pam's early education was in Houston, Texas, and she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Sciences from Southwest Texas State Teacher's College, now Texas State University-San Marcos, in 1973. Pam studied modern dance and piano in her younger years, possessed a beautiful singing voice, sang in the choir at Central and St. John's United Methodist Churches and was still a lively and beautiful dancer. Pam's mathematical skills and her love of math impressed family, friends and students, as she provided loving tutoring to those not so mathematically inclined. Pam's infectious laugh still rings in our ears. She passionately loved her family, and Pam's delicacy, gentility, and kindness marked her life. Her sweet smile will always burn in the hearts of all those who loved her. Pam volunteered at Peacecraft, a non-profit, Fair Trade Store, from April 2007-May 2008. Pam is survived by her husband, Lt.
