Philip Paul Hendren 1940-2009 Philip Paul Hendren, age 69, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009. Phil retired in 2002 from TVI, having also worked for the APD Corrections office for thirteen plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors and his family. Phil was a great mentor to his family and instilled many values in his children, family and everyone around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Romancita Hendren. Phil is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Hendren; children, Philip II, Chris and his wife Stephanie, Monica Rawson and Alan Baca; grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Krista Hendren, Kyleigh, Nicole, and Charles (Buddy) Rawson; siblings, Rev. Lucian Hendren, Elizabeth Hendren, Katherine Schmucker and her husband Art, Bert and his wife Rose Lee, Larry and his wife Kathy, Rita Feigl and her husband Tom. He is also survived by his beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Riverside Funeral Home, followed by a rosary at 6:00 p.m. recited by Deacon Rudy Baca officiating. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with Father Bijoy Francis officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Phil's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Michael Gavin hospice angel of a nurse, Zandra Rise.
