Luciano Gutierrez, 68, was called by our Heavenly Father on October 12, 2009. Luciano was born April 27, 1941, in Dexter, New Mexico. He was preceded by his parents, Erenio and Jovita Gutierrez; and one brother, Rafael Gutierrez. Luciano was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Gutierrez; a daughter, Melissa and her husband, Romeo Medina; two sons, James and his wife, Gerri Gutierrez, Robert and his wife Nichole Gutierrez; and seven grandchildren, Adriana, Gabriel, Michael, Micayla, Landon, Andrew, and Jared. Luciano is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Adelina, David, Danny, Caroline, Erenio Jr., Ramon, Margaret, Christopher, Irene, and Angela. He was respected and admired by all of those who knew him and will be greatly missed. A Rosary will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 16, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., at Saint Josephs on the Rio Grande, 5901 Saint Josephs Ave, NW. The Internment and Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Luciano's name payable to Saint Vincent de Paul, 5928 Las Cadenas, Albuquerque NM 87120.
