Abad E. Lucero, 100, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma R. Lucero; daughter, Lenore Lucero Miner; grandson, Martin Lucero; brothers, Cipriano and Osmundo; sisters, Flora, Lucy and Aurora; father, Cipriano; and mother, Guadalupe. Abad is survived by his son, Leonard; daughter, Jackie Gutierrez and husband, Ernest; grandchildren, Lisa Henneman, Amy Gutierrez, Allen Miner and Laura Miner; great-grandchildren, Landon Miner, Verity Miner, Nicole, Kevin, and Andrew Henneman; brothers, Joe and Arnold; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 15, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Parish, 3828 4th St. NW.
