Reynalda "Reina" Vargas Jimenez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 13, 2009. Reina Jimenez is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Mr. Santiago G. Jimenez; her children, Petra Jimenez Maes, Rose Jimenez, Jimmy Abel Jimenez, Louise Glenn and husband, Rikk and Jose Jimenez; her brother, Alejandro Vargas; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Reina Jimenez was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; and sisters. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Father Bill Sanchez. Final visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 9: 30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
