Lilias Mae "Liz" LaCoss, our beloved wife and mother, met her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born November 08, 1927. She married her high school sweetheart, Douglas LaCoss. They had a 65 year romance resulting in two daughters, one grandson and two great-grandsons. Due to Doug's work, they had homes throughout the United States always returning to their heart-felt home and friends in Albuquerque. Liz was the "hostess-with-the-mostess" entertaining friends and family at every turn in her life. Liz LaCoss is survived by her husband, Douglas LaCoss; daughters, Jorja and Jennifer LaCoss; grandson, Douglas, his wife, Sacha and sons, Erik and Luke. Liz was the youngest of 10 children, two of which are still living, Norman Raymen of Kelso, WA and Arlene Merly of Toledo, WA; and 16 nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at in French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
