Paul E. Keylon, born in Knoxville, TN. October 15, 1926, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1943. He served with the U.S.M.C. First Marine Division on Peleliu, Okinawa and Postwar China. Paul was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1943, serving on the Administrative Board, as an usher, and serving meals to the homeless for many years. He was a life member of the Leatherneck Marine Corps Assoc.and the VFW Post 401. He retired from AT&SF Railway after 42 years. Paul was preceded in death by first wife, Rosalie Mary Keylon in 1970; grandson, Brian Keylon and brother, Jack. He is survived by his wife, Letha; his sons, James and wife, Donna, and David and wife, Cindy, granddaughters, Shaina, Heather and Ashley; stepchildren, Eric Hadady, Letha Hadady, and Michelle Noeding; sister, Helen Galloway; brother, G. Vernon; sister-in-law, Lily; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead Ave. SW. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
