Lawrence Vernon Rodriguez, 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away on September 26, 2009 with his loving family at his side. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mrs. Cecilia Rodriguez; his daughters, Camilla Baca and husband, Bill, Gina Robertson and husband, Sam, Verna Holmes and husband, Mark; his son-in-law, Richard Quintana; his grandchildren, Rick, Chris, Miguel, Bianca, Boe and Hannah; his great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Abriana, Amanda and Amber; his cousins, Agnes Valdez, and Elmo Varela and wife, Erna; and many other extended family members. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his daughter, Patti Quintana; parents, Luis and Frances Rodriguez; and his brother, Donald Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Final visitation will be at the Church on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
