Sergeant First Class David Charles Remillard, 39, a resident of Colorado Springs, CO., formerly of Laguna, NM passed away on September 21, 2009. Mr. Remillard is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Tina Remillard; his daughters, Shelby Remillard, and Brittany Remillard; his mother, Ruth Remillard; his sisters, Virginia Carr and family and Charlene Ramirez and family; foster father, Donald Gonzales; parents in-law, Marvin and Molly Erice; brothers-in-law, Marvin Erice II and family and Wayne Erice and family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Remillard was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Remillard; and his foster mother, Jacqueline Gonzales. David was a strong man of Faith who loved the Lord and encouraged others to do the same. David was an active duty Army soldier serving for 21 years. A Wake service will be held Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at his mother's home in Seama, NM. A Funeral Service will be Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Laguna Acoma Baptist Indian Mission Church, 1564 State Rd. 124, Cubero, NM, Brother Franklin Williams, and Brother Byron Sarracino, presiding. Full Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army. Private burial will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be servicemen of the United States Army.
