Frieda Turner Roach, went home to be with her Heavenly Father September 17, 2009. She was born February 12, 1916 in Santa Rita, NM to Grant County Pioneers Jesse L. and Edith M. Turner. She was a lifelong New Mexico resident having lived in Grant County, Socorro, Santa Fe and Albuquerque. She is survived by her sons, James T. Roach and wife Shirley of Albuquerque, Thomas D. Roach of Los Alamos and Ken L. Roach of Phoenix. She is also survived by six grandchildren, David C. Roach and wife Erin, Tiffany Roach Martin and husband Brian, Chet M. Roach, Heather M. Roach, Joseph T. Roach and Jessica G. Roach; four step-grandchildren, Linda Head and husband, Bobby, Pam Roberson and husband Butch, Terry Ruth and Debbie Boyles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Roach, a former New Mexico State Police Chief; two sisters, Jean Baker and Jane Cureton; and stepdaughter, JoVann Hill. Frieda is a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Albuquerque and was formerly employed by the Baptist Convention of New Mexico. Family visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French ~ Wyoming Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009, 1:30 p.m., at French ~ Wyoming Chapel, with Reverend Michael M. Cook and Dr. David C. Roach officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Joseph T. Roach, Jessica G. Roach, Chet M. Roach, Heather M. Roach, Tiffany Roach Martin, Brian J.
