Barbara Ottinger, born March 1, 1914 in Pennsylvania passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Barbara was a longtime resident of Albuquerque , residing previously in Bethesda, Maryland. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church as well as being a member of the Secular Franciscans and a member of the Lay Women's Association. Barbara also received Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice from Pope John Paul II. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, corner of Paseo del Norte and Wyoming, NE on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. A Reception will follow at Manzano Del Sol, 5201 Roma, NE at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to the charity of your choice.
