LeAnne Esquivel, beloved daughter and sister passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009. LeAnne is survived by her father, Mike Esquivel; mother, Rebecca Pirkey and husband, Gary; brother, Milo Esquivel; grandmother, Dorothy Esquivel; paternal aunts and uncles, Chris Ayala, Richard and Kathy Esquivel, Larry Chavez and Bev Esquivel-Chavez; maternal aunts and uncles, Patricia Maestas, Cindy Harris, Priscilla Caruthers, Ray and Jennie Montano, and Rick and Pat Montano; and special friends, Sarah Koster and Sean Ondes. LeAnne nurtured a lifelong love of reading, and was an excellent student, having graduated from UNM with a BS in Sociology, and graduated from the CNM School of Nursing with an RN. She was an avid traveler, who loved and supported her family dearly. LeAnne enjoyed a particularly close and enduring relationship with her brother Milo. She was cherished by her family and her memory will remain strong in the hearts of those who loved her. A memorial rosary will be recited Tuesday, September 8, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. NE. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway SE. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd. NE.
