Katie (Kate Little NaNa) Francia, 52, went to be with our Lord on Sunday August 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by father: Tranquilino Avalos; grandson: Jeremy Francia; and husband: Leroy Francia. Katie is survived by stepfather: Alfonso Correa; mother: Judy Correa; son: Joe Francia and wife, Michelle; daughter: Valerie Daly and husband, Sean; brothers: Ralph Avalos and wife, Rona, Michael Avalos and wife, Liz, Robert Avalos, and Victor Torres; sister: Emily Castillo and husband, Floyd; grandchildren: Jenise Francia, Jonae Francia, Deidra Daly, Sean (Hito) Daly II and Jeremy Francia; five godchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She loved to travel and loved her grandchildren. She was loved and she will be missed. A Viewing will be Wednesday 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE). Life Celebration Service will be Thursday 3:00 p.m. at the Rio Grande Baptist Church, 2121 Gun Club Rd. SW. Pallbearers will be Ralph Avalos Jr., Michael Avalos Jr., Robert Avalos Jr., Monty Apodaca, Andrew Rivera, and David Avalos.
