Edna Roybal, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with our Heavenly Father, Thursday, August 27, 2009. She was born on June 21, 1928 to Candido and Andrea (Trujillo) Montoya in Guadalupita, NM. Edna is predeceased by her parents; her sisters Sarah Vigil and Alice Lopez. She is survived by her loving husband Santiago; her son Eddie Roybal and wife Patricia, their daughter Amber Maxwell and her partner Adam Lovato, Sr.; and great-grandson Adam "Gordito" Lovato, Jr.; her sister Cilia Martinez and husband Pete Blea; her brothers, Ted Montoya, Lorenzo Montoya and wife Elvie, Nelson Montoya and wife Bobby Jo. Edna was a dedicated long time member of St. Therese Catholic Church since 1957. A special thanks to Toni and Danny Boggs and Hospice De La Luz for the special care given to Edna. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 31, 2009 at 1 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church; interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
