David Harrison Davis, age 79, went to be with his Lord on August 12, 2009 in Rio Rancho, NM. He was born in Nashville, TN to Raymond and Thelma Davis. He moved to Albuquerque with his parents in 1944 when he was only 14 and helped his father in the family jewelry shop. David proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict for the United States Air Force. He worked for Sandia National labs in research and development. David is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mildred Davis, their children, two sons, Ralph Davis and wife, Bonnie of Algodones, NM, Ray Davis and wife, Denise of Niles, MI and one daughter, Louise Budagher and husband, Si of Rio Rancho. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. David was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter born in 1966, Louseneth Christine Davis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Celebration Baptist Church, 5620 Laredo Rd, NE Rio Rancho, NM 87144, with Pastor David Brittain officiating.
