Stanley Ellis Thomas, father, brother, friend and veteran, 62, born April 20, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Stan, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully from complications with cancer. Preceded in death by his beloved mother Georgia LaBar and stepfather Joe Thomas; he is survived by his son Sean Aguilar-Thomas and wife Christine Clemetson, sister Pam and husband, Randy Allen; nieces and nephews Kim Massey-Dimsha and husband Mark, Andrew and Matthew Rhyand, Mackenzie Allen; and great-nephew Max Dimsha, all of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday August 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., at the home of his sister.
