Cecilia G. Rael, 77, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 10, 2009.Mrs. Rael is survived by her son, Fidel Rael and wife, Rita; her daughter, Theresa Rael and husband, Paul Duran; four sisters, Mela Lopez and husband, Joe, Martha Benavidez and husband, Selso, Viola Gabaldon, and Peggy Dunas and husband, John; three brothers, Frank Gonzales and wife, Toni, Adrian Gonzales and wife, Della, and Raymond Gabaldon and wife, Bonnie; six grandchildren, Denise, Sugar, Yvette, Crystal, Monica and Stevan; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Rael was preceded in death by her husband, Estevan "Steve" Rael; and her daughter, Vera Rael. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Reverend Leo Padget, presider. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be Frank Gonzales, Adrian Gonzales, Paul Duran, Jason Tapia, Robert Smith and Christopher Gonzales.
