Louis Saavedra, 76, died August 7th in Albuquerque. He was the son of Nepumucena Gabaldon and Jose Ignacio Saavedra. Louis was a native of Socorro where he graduated from Socorro High School. He received two degrees from Eastern New Mexico University and went on to careers in education and politics in Albuquerque. Louis is greatly missed by family and friends.
