Fred Del Palacio, 66, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009. Fred was born November 13, 1942 the son of Nicholas and Magdelena Merona Del Palacio in El Paso, Texas. Fred came to Albuquerque from California in 1982. He had worked for the Martin Merrietta Company before he retired. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Magdelena. He is survived by his wife, Hope Del Palacio of Albuquerque; daughter, Pamela Cowell and husband Jody of Rio Rancho, NM, step-son, Richard Lujan and wife Melinda of San Clemente, CA, and step-daughter, April Werdermann and husband Alan of Bernalillo, NM; grandchildren, Rebekah Cowell of Rio Rancho, NM, Erich Werdermann of Bernalillo, NM, Amber Werdermann of El Monte, CA, and Andrea Haines of Mesa, AZ; one sister, Diane Walker of Sacramento, CA; and one brother, Nicholas Del Palacio of Sacramento, CA. A Memorial Service for Fred will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Minister Nathaniel Grant officiating.
